OCMasters SEO & AI

All the SEO of an OpenCart store in one module: URLs, redirects, content, structured data, speed and AI. OCMasters SEO & AI tidies up your URLs, keeps your rankings through every change, fills meta texts from templates or with AI and prepares the store for search engines and for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity.

You turn the features on one by one. No changes to OpenCart files, and your store URLs stay the same until you decide otherwise.

Why

• Keep your rankings. Changed keyword, deleted product or a new URL structure: the old addresses lead to the new ones with a 301, automatically.
• Save hours of manual work. Meta title, description, keywords, H1 and image alt are filled from templates or with AI, for hundreds of products at once.
• Better results in Google. Canonical, hreflang, meta robots and structured data (Product or SoftwareApplication, Breadcrumbs, Organization, Store) without touching the theme.
• Be visible in AI search. llms.txt, rules for AI crawlers and IndexNow for instant indexing in Bing.

URLs and redirects

• SEO URLs with an optional language tag (/en/, /bg/ or none for the default language) and hreflang for every language.
• URL structure: product by keyword only, with its category or with its manufacturer; categories with the full path or the last one only.
• Parameters in the path: /category/page-2, /category/sort-price-asc, /search/word, with your own words per language.
• Custom addresses for any combination of parameters, and keywords for common pages (contact, cart, login) and other modules.
• 301 to the correct address: old OpenCart URLs, index.php?route=..., capitals and trailing slashes. UTM parameters are kept.
• Automatic 301 when a keyword changes (sub-categories included) and when a product, category or manufacturer is deleted.
• Redirects 301, 302, 307, 308 and 410, static and with regular expressions, with a hit counter. CSV import and export with a simulation and a ready template.
• Missing pages (404): every address that returns 404, with hits and the referring page. Redirect with one click.

Content

• Editor for keyword, meta title, description, keywords, H1, H2, robots, canonical and image alt / title / file name of all products, categories, information pages and manufacturers. Character counters, a Google preview and filters for empty and duplicate fields.
• Template generator with tags such as [name], [category], [brand], [price], [desc]. A simulation before saving and an "empty fields only" mode.
• "Generate SEO" button in the product and category form, and automatic filling on save.
• Transliteration of Cyrillic and unique keywords.
• FAQ for products and categories, visible on the page and as FAQPage microdata.
• "Why buy" block under the description: an H3 heading and benefits from a template or per product.
• Internal links: chosen words become links in descriptions; category in the product breadcrumb; related products from the category; links to sibling categories.
• Home page meta tags and H1 per store and language (Multistore).

AI tools

• Work with Claude, OpenAI or Gemini using your own API key - you pay the provider directly.
• Meta texts, H1 and H2 with AI for one record or in bulk, with a simulation.
• FAQ suggestions from the product description.
• Image alt and title from the picture itself.
• Benefits for the "Why buy" block.
• Your own style rules (e.g. "short, address the reader directly"). AI uses only the product data and never invents features, prices or guarantees. Every text is a suggestion you see before it stays.

Structured data and social

• JSON-LD: Product or SoftwareApplication (price, availability, brand, real reviews, return and shipping policy), BreadcrumbList, CollectionPage, Organization, Store / LocalBusiness, WebSite, Place, FAQPage.
• No duplicates of the data the theme already outputs (e.g. Journal 3).
• Open Graph, Twitter Card, Google Publisher and Facebook Pixel (PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, Purchase, Search).
• Reviews in the HTML so search engines see them, and review invitations by e-mail N days after the order.

Indexing and speed

• XML sitemap in parts with hreflang and images; the robots.txt line is added with a button.
• llms.txt and llms-full.txt for AI assistants, and robots.txt rules for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and other AI crawlers.
• IndexNow: Bing, Yandex, Seznam and Naver learn about a new or changed product at once.
• Canonical, meta robots by page type, X-Robots-Tag, Last-Modified and 304 Not Modified.
• Images: width and height, lazy loading and preload of the main image for better Core Web Vitals.
• URL cache and a cron job that fills empty fields, refreshes llms.txt and sends IndexNow, with a log.

Getting started

1. Upload the module in Extensions > Installer and install it.
2. Enter the license key and enable the module. Your URLs stay as they were.
3. Turn on the features you want and run the generator as a simulation to see the result before saving.

Technical

• Only OpenCart events (and startup actions on OpenCart 4) - no OCMOD file changes, no core changes.
• Works with the old OpenCart URLs too: nothing breaks when you turn it on. Uninstalling keeps your redirects and FAQ.
• Works with the default theme and with Journal 3.2, including the Journal blog URLs.
• Admin languages: English and Bulgarian. Several stores with their own settings.

Compatibility

OpenCart 4.1.x (PHP 8.x) and OpenCart 3.0.x (PHP 7.4 - 8.3), tested with the default theme and Journal 3. The AI tools need an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI or Google.
